Only people you approve can follow you and watch your videos, LIVE videos, bio, and likes. Your name, username, and profile photo stay visible to everyone. ### Set a post to Only you Go to **Open the post -> More options -> Privacy settings**. Choose who can watch each video or photo post. On a public account the options are Everyone, Friends, or Only you. ### Turn off downloads of your videos Go to **Settings and privacy -> Privacy -> Downloads**. Stops other people from saving your posts, both old and new. Copies people already downloaded stay on their devices. ### Turn off Save to device Go to **Post screen -> More options -> Save to device**. Controls whether TikTok saves a copy of a post you make to your device. Leave it off to keep those videos out of your camera roll. ### Keep drafts in the app Drafts stay inside TikTok and only you can see them. ### Notification previews Go to **Profile -> Menu -> Settings and privacy -> Notifications**. Turn each type of push notification on or off, or set a push notification schedule so TikTok stays quiet during the hours you choose. ### Daily screen time Go to **Profile -> Menu -> Settings and privacy -> Screen time**. Set a daily limit and get a notice when you reach it. The same menu has screen time breaks and sleep reminders, which mute push notifications at bedtime. For ages 13 to 17 it's on by default at one hour. ### Family Pairing A parent links their TikTok account to their teen's and sets a daily screen time limit for all of the teen's devices. They can also schedule times when TikTok isn't available and use a passcode to grant extra time. ## Keep TikTok photos out of your camera roll Photos you save from TikTok land in the Photos app, outside any app lock. Touch and hold TikTok, tap Require Face ID and confirm. It then needs Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode to open. TikTok has no separate lock of its own. ### Can you hide TikTok on iPhone? Yes.
