Requires a 4-digit PIN before Grindr opens. After you set the PIN, you can turn on Use Face ID. Grindr does not store the PIN, so if you forget it you have to delete and reinstall the app. ### Discreet App Icon Go to **Select your Profile icon -> Select Settings -> Scroll down to Security -> Select the Discreet App Icon**. Free on iPhone. Changes how the Grindr icon looks on your Home Screen. ### Incognito A Grindr Unlimited feature. Hides your profile from the grid, makes you appear offline to people you tap or message, and keeps you off Viewed Me lists. ### Show Me settings In Settings, turn off Show Me in Explore Searches, Show My Distance, Show Me In Viewed List, or Show me in For You to limit where your profile appears. ### Expiring photos Send a photo that can be viewed once, for up to 10 seconds. Free users get 1 per day. ### Albums Private photo and video albums that you share in chat and can unshare at any time. XTRA and Unlimited subscribers can set an album to expire. ### Screenshot protection On iPhone, a screenshot of a photo sent in chat shows a blacked-out image. ### Notification previews Go to **Tap on your profile -> Select settings next to the gear icon -> Scroll down to the Notifications section**. Turn notifications for received Taps, Sound, and Vibrations on or off. Message previews are set in the iPhone's Settings -> Notifications -> Grindr. ## Keep Grindr photos out of your camera roll Photos you save from Grindr land in the Photos app, outside any app lock.
