Pin it from the extensions menu so the icon stays in the toolbar. 2. **Set a password** Vivaldi opens the welcome page. Choose a password of at least 8 characters. It locks after 5 minutes of inactivity by default (1, 15 or 60 minutes, or only when Vivaldi closes, in Settings), and always when the screen locks or Vivaldi quits.
