Make folders, drag favorites between them, right-click a folder to sort by name, and use the search box to find anything. - **Manager:** `edge://favorites` or Ctrl+Shift+O (opens the Favorites panel) - **Folders:** Right-click -> Add new folder, then drag bookmarks in - **Sort:** Right-click a folder -> Sort by name ## Organize favorites in Microsoft Edge 1. **Open the manager** Go to `edge://favorites`, or press Ctrl+Shift+O (opens the Favorites panel). 2. **Make folders** Right-click in the folder list (left) -> Add new folder. Nest folders by making one inside another. 3. **Move favorites** Drag favorites into folders; select several with Ctrl/⌘ or Shift first to move them together. 4. **Sort and search** Right-click a folder -> Sort by name. The search box at the top finds favorites by name or address across every folder. Menu labels change between versions of Edge; the shortcut and the internal address `edge://favorites` don't. ## A folder plan that holds up One folder per project or area, no deeper than two levels, and the Favorites bar folder kept to the ten or so pages you open daily. Put everything else under Other favorites; search finds it faster than browsing ever will. ## Duplicates Edge has no built-in duplicate finder. Sort a folder by name and duplicates sit next to each other; delete the extras. Importing the same HTML file twice is the usual cause. ## Keep some bookmarks out of Microsoft Edge altogether No folder is private: the manager shows every one of them to whoever opens it.
