A second browser profile keeps its own bookmarks out of sight, but nothing stops someone at your keyboard from switching to it: profiles have no password. For a real lock, use an encrypted vault. ### Do the steps differ between Windows and Mac? Only the modifier key: Ctrl on Windows, Linux and ChromeOS becomes ⌘ on a Mac. Menu paths and internal URLs are the same. ### Why do Edge pages say favorites? Microsoft Edge calls bookmarks favorites and the bar the favorites bar.
