Hides your profile from new people without deleting your account. People you already liked may still see you, and you can keep chatting with existing matches. ### Incognito A paid feature (Tinder Plus and higher) that hides your profile at any time, so only people you have liked can see you. ### Block Contacts Go to **Tap the profile icon -> Settings -> Block Contacts**. Pick people from your contacts, or add a phone number or email by hand, and Tinder tries to keep you from seeing each other. They are not notified. ### Screenshot and screen recording protection In select regions, Tinder blocks screenshots and screen recordings of profiles on iPhone while a profile is on screen. It turns on automatically. ### Notification previews Go to **Tap the profile icon -> Settings -> Notifications**. Manage push and email notifications for the app. Preview controls are in the iPhone's own Settings -> Notifications -> Tinder. ## Keep Tinder photos out of your camera roll Photos you save from Tinder land in the Photos app, outside any app lock. Touch and hold Tinder, tap Require Face ID and confirm. It then needs Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode to open. Tinder has no separate lock of its own. ### Can you hide Tinder on iPhone? Yes. On iOS 18 or later, touch and hold Tinder, tap Require Face ID, then Hide and Require Face ID.
