Others in that Circle see Location Sharing Paused under your name. It only affects the Circle you change it in, and it doesn't delete location history already collected. Check In, SOS, and crash detection can still share your location. ### Create a Bubble Shares only your approximate location, in a radius of up to 25 miles for up to 6 hours, while safety features stay on. Any Circle member can burst the Bubble, which shows your location and notifies the Circle. Crashes and emergencies also burst it. ### Notification previews Go to **Settings (upper left) -> Notifications**. Turn notifications on or off for each Circle member, for Places, and for marketing. Each Place also has a bell icon to switch its alerts on or off. ## Frequently asked questions ### Can you lock Life360 on iPhone? Yes. Touch and hold Life360, tap Require Face ID and confirm. It then needs Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode to open. Life360 has no separate lock of its own. ### Can you hide Life360 on iPhone? Yes. On iOS 18 or later, touch and hold Life360, tap Require Face ID, then Hide and Require Face ID. It moves to the locked Hidden folder at the bottom of App Library and leaves search results. ### Does Life360 have its own passcode? No. Life360 relies on iOS for locking. Use Require Face ID, which accepts Face ID, Touch ID or your iPhone passcode. For a separate code, Screen Time with its own passcode is an option. ### Do Life360 settings sync to my iPad? The iOS lock and hidden status don't sync with iCloud; set them on each device.
