Moves the chat to the Hidden section at the bottom of your Matches tab. It comes back to the top if that match messages you. ### Block List Go to **Open Hinge and tap the profile icon -> Go to Settings -> Block List**. Sync your contacts or add a phone number or email by hand, and Hinge tries to keep you and that person from seeing each other. They are not notified. ### Show Last Active Status Go to **Tap your profile picture in the navigation bar -> Tap the Gear Icon -> Show Last Active Status**. Turn the toggle off to hide when you were last active. You then cannot see other members' status either. ### Screenshot blocking In some regions, Hinge blocks screenshots and screen recordings of Discover, Standouts, Likes You, and other people's profiles, and hides that content in the app switcher. ### Notification previews Go to **Tap your Photo Icon -> Tap the Gear icon -> Notifications -> Push Notifications or Emails**. Turn all push notifications or emails on or off, or pick individual categories. ### Pause Go to **Tap your Photo Icon on the far right of the navigation bar -> Tap the Gear icon -> Pause**. Stops showing your profile to new people while you keep chatting with existing matches. It does not pause a subscription. ## Keep Hinge photos out of your camera roll Photos you save from Hinge land in the Photos app, outside any app lock. Touch and hold Hinge, tap Require Face ID and confirm. It then needs Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode to open. Hinge has no separate lock of its own. ### Can you hide Hinge on iPhone? Yes.
